Kim Boesen, MD PhD Research Fellow

Kim obtained a medical degree from University of Copenhagen (2015) and has practiced internal and family medicine for a year in Denmark. He did his PhD at the Nordic Cochrane Centre, Denmark (2017-2020), with a thesis on methodological limitations in psychiatric drug trials. As part of his PhD, Kim was a visiting scholar at the Meta-Research Innovation Center at Stanford (METRICS). Subsequently, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Meta-Research Innovation Center Berlin (METRIC-B)  (2020-2021) under supervision of John Ioannidis about improving access to clinical trial data (see e.g. tinyurl.com/2vdtdvzc). Kim occasionally teaches last-year residents in family medicine about statistics and systematic reviews at University of Copenhagen. Kim worked at RC2NB from January to December 2023, working mainly on the CIEL-library project.
